Does anyone know of a reputable English Bulldog breeder in the Central Valley, California?
I'm looking for a bulldog breeder around the area of Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, etc but I'm ready to travel to anywhere in northern CA... I'm looking for a new puppy, but by no means does it need to have "Show" potential or Championed bloodlines, I just don't want to support puppy mills. I would just like a healthy, good-looking bully for my family. Thanks for the help! p.s. I've already seen bulldogbreeders.net

It's great that you don't want to support puppy mills, but due to the potential genetic health issues in the Bulldog, you should want to go a step beyond that and require that your dog come from a responsible breeder. The Bulldog Club of Northern California has breeder information: http://www.thebcnc.org/ They also have rescue info, if you would consider that.
